Recent departures, arrivals and promotions at associationsHyman June 20, 2019 Elizabeth Hyman, EVP for public advocacy at CompTIA, was named the first CEO of the XR Association, a trade group representing virtual, augmented and "mixed" reality technology manufacturers. Several big tech companies, including Google and Facebook, launched the association in 2016. CompTIA hired Cinnamon Rogers to succeed Hyman as EVP for public advocacy. Rogers previously was SVP of government affairs at the Telecommunications Industry Association.
